Paper Time

Just posing quickly before jumping back into my French politics paper. I can’t wait to be done!

My afternoon snack was a peanut butter sandwich on Arnold bread.

And after classes, I came home and attacked this beast:

Favorite salad ever! Tomato, cucumber, carrots, romaine, salsa and a mashed avocado. The perfect meal.

I had a decapitated tortilla on the side. I literally have to pick them apart in tiny pieces- not very photogenic.

Grapes + dates followed.

And later, I had half a TJ's dark chocolate bar.

Back to work…T minus 16 hours until my weekend begins!

What was the best class you took in college? If you’re still in college, which is your favorite so far? I love this French politics class, but writing papers is never exactly what I’d call fun.

I know it’s only hump day, but what are you most looking forward to this weekend?

Definitely....most definitely, the Culinary Cultures/Food Writing course I took. I wish I could take it for the rest of my life, haha. That's saying something because I hate school/learning haha

The best class I took in college... hmm I'd have to say it was a class about teaching elementary PE. It really wasn't anything about that and was more team building - my teacher rocked, we had an incredible bond with the entire class.. it was an amazing experience!

I would have to say another class I loved as any sort of history class!

My favorite class was Spanish Theatre. I loved reading the plays, acting them out and seeing some of the places they were based on while studying in Sevilla. Just amazing!

I took a lot of great classes but my favorite may have been Politics of Gender and Sexuality. We talked about so many issues that challenged the positions I had never deeply considered before and I still find myself bringing up that class in conversation all the time. But I also still think about National Security and Democracy and US Foreign Policy classes a lot, too. I love poli sci.

Oh my, favorite classs.....could it have been the James Bond English class? The numerous magazine journalism classes? The numerous other English classes in which we mostly just shared our opinions and feelings? GAH! I loved them all! DAMN I MISS COLLEGE. OK, just had to put that out there.

I'm really looking forward to this amazing event I was invited to! I'm THISCLOSE to getting the boyf to drive down to Cinci to join me, which would be amazing.

Good luck with the rest of your paper, love! xoxo

My favourite class..hmm. That is such a tough one! I really like a Nutrition Assessment course I am right now. And I also love the Athletic Training one I am in right now. We are learning how to do the different taping jobs on ankle injuries, etc. Very cool.

I love living vicariously through your college experiences :) While I am still in school, law school is EXTREMELY different than college :(
Anyway, my favorite class was Sex, Gender & Culture (anthropology class). I had the most engaging professor & we had really insightful discussions. I think one day I would really love to go back to graduate school for anthropology.

abnormal psych was a good one
various anatomy & physio classes
a mandatory theology in the 300 level. i chose marriage and family. As a 19 yr old, it gave me (albeit a catholic one) a perspective into long term relationships and marriage. And i also got married...at age 19!

have fun studying and writing...i do not miss those days..you're almost done!!!!

I am in graduate school, and by far my favorite class is Advanced Health Assessment. Putting all of the theory aspects of the class into practice really makes it all come together.

I can't WAIT for the weekend. I am doing a run for charity and volunteering - something other than school :)

College seems like a distant memory - even though I graduated less than a year ago! I *loved* my communication theory classes. It's so interesting to me to learn about WHY people communicate in certain ways. It's information I'll definitely carry with me throughout life!

Hope the paper turned out well!! :) xoxoxoxo

My fave class was an art history class that focused a lot on early 20th C. architecture - we did a number of "architecture walks" around our campus and in San Francisco, even got to tour private homes. It was absolutely amazing!

Hope you killed it with the paper :)

I love my nutrition class! The professor is hilarious and tries to make each class interesting. I just took my first test in there yesterday and feel GREAT about it. It's awesome!

Even though I've already taken 3 years of classes, I can already tell that my favourite classes are going to be my Nutrition and Food Science classes this year. :D

Good luck with your paper! French politics sounds so interesting but it also sounds really hard.
I'm still in college and I think some of my favorite classes so far have been Business Law and Nutrition. I love both of them because they are so so interesting to me!

Definitely Criticism of Media and Society which was our capstone course for my major (Communication) It also helped that I had an awesome prof too.

Looking forward to spending some quality time with my fiance this weekend. We might be going apple picking too if the apples we want are ready.
