Wham, bam, thank you ma'am

Bonsoir mes belles! Hope you’ve all had a lovely Monday- I can’t believe it’s March already! I’m definitely not complaining, we’re that much closer to spring!

I’m going to keep this short and sweet since I have a mountain of reading to do and want to get to bed early! One of my roommates was up until 2 last night working on a project and I just couldn’t fall asleep with the noise and light L

No surprises with breakfast:

Nature’s Path SmartBran, frozen blobs, almond milk and cinnamon

I think this might actually be one of my favorite cereal/fruit combos. SmartBran tastes just like Rice Krispies and is the perfect complement to the blueberries. And I love adding cinnamon to my cereal- the milk that gets left behind is delicious!

After yesterday’s long run, I wanted to take things easy today. My legs were feeling kind of tight this morning though, so at the gym I did 10 minutes of walking at 4 mph on the treadmill to move my legs, followed by a bunch of abwork and some serious stretching. Wham, bam, thank you ma’am!

Lunch was a delicious humnut pizza consumed before classes:

Ezekiel tortilla topped with Muir Glen fire roasted pasta sauce, zucchini stirfried in EVOO and balsamic, tomato slices, crumbled Dr. Praeger’s Tex Mex burger, and humnut sauce

I had a tangerine for dessert, plus an unpictured dive into the Naturally More jar in celebration of National Peanut Butter day J

Snacks were packed to enjoy between my afternoon classes:

Ginger Snap Larabar, organic Gala apple

I’ve had this Lara flavor once before, but I forgot how much I loved it! It tastes just like a ginger snap cookie, which always reminds me of my grandfather. They’re his favorite snack!

After a long afternoon of classes, I came home HANGRY and wanted something quick and easy for dinner! Thank goodness for Amy’s Kitchen!

Amy’s Breakfast Burrito, with a mountain of steamed broccoli covered in nooch

Perfect east dinner! Last time I had an Amy’s wrap, K let me in on how good the wraps are to eat alone. Boy, was she ever right! I ended up decapitating it and eating the tofu, tomato and bean filling first, then enjoying the wrap part second. Both were outstanding :)

Dessert was a banana hammock with Once Again Sunflower Seed Butter, the last of my dates and another unpictured dip in the Naturally More jar (this holiday only comes once a year, I have to celebrate while I can!).

Well mes amours, I’m off to put a dent in that reading! Be sure to check by tomorrow morning, when I’ll be announcing another giveaway!

What’s your favorite way to enjoy peanut butter? I love it just about any way, but I like it best on a sandwich or just off a spoon!

Fave way to eat nutbutter is inside a medjool date, off the knife straight outta the jar, or smeared on one of the raw ball creations I make :)

Happy PB Day! Apples and PB is my fav snack. I'm starting to accumulate more and more different types of butters, and I'm not sure my hips and thighs are taking it so well :) I try to limit myself to only 1T per day, but lately it's been more like 3-4T. Yikes. Love your pizza, so fresh and veggie-ful.

Favorite PB vehicles: shawling a yogurt mess, or playing coy in a vegetarian curry. I love playing into the savory aspect of peanut butter every now and then--I should do it more!

Hahah - thanks for the shout out! Glad you liked the wrap!! Now I'm craving that almost pastry-like goodness ;)

PB vehicle? Vitatop or English muffin or apple or...spoon?!

my favorite way is off the spoon. best way to really get all the flavors :)

There's nothing better than sitting down with a spoon and an almost empty jar of peanut butter and finishing it off. Melted into warm oatmeal is a close second, though!

Right quick: I had to resort to Amy's tonight, too! LOVE.

Fave way to eat pb-- melted into oats or straight outta the jar on...my finger. It's true.

Must run, but have a fabulous night, love! xoxo

I don't understand how people can eat PB off the spoon...I can't do that, it's too dry for me....I can't even eat it on bread...I like it warm and melty, like on oats and stuff...Do you know any PB that aren't so dry?

Andrea @Celery In The City said...

I had forgotten all about Amy's products! ahh! must check out their vegan options!

I love PB with ice cream..or off the spoon, or in a fluffer nutter sammie!
I just love the stuff :)

Have a good week girl!!

I love PB mixed with a little vanilla yogurt served with some apple slices...its the perfect little dipper. But I'm also with you, its the best when you sneak it right out of the jar!

Oh yum I just love your apple and larabar snack.. very something I would snack on!

PB out of the jar.. guilty!! very guilty of. I am obsessed and proud :o)

I found a new favourite for PB today: layered...with chia oats....and organic cherry jam. A parfait for breakfast felt so decadent!

And, I definitely tasted some on the spoon as I was waiting for the oats:)
