Sick day

Hi lovies! Just wanted to do a quick post to tell y'all I'l taking the night off. I've had a stomach bug all day and haven't been able to keep much down, so the eats have been pretty minimal and boring. I took pictures of a few, but I'll spare you the excitement of dry toast, cereal and plain oatmeal :) Thankfully, I've been feeling better these past few hours, so hopefully by tomorrow I'll be back to normal!

On the plus side, 10 hours of sleep last night plus multiple naps have probably reduced my sleep deficit to 0..

Have a great hump day and I'll be back tomorrow!

Are you a napper? I usually never nap, but today my body was just screaming at me to get back in bed! This is an interesting article I found today on FitSugar concerning the benefits of napping...something to consider!

aw sorry you're not feeling good, take care of yourself love! i'm a napper in theory, but not in practice. i really believe they are important yet haven't taken one in a while! funny, researchers from the sleep lab my prof runs got a lot of publicity today for their study on the benefits of nappign!!

ohhh my gahhh girlie I had a terrible stomach thing today too! I tried to ignore it most of the day so there was no napping :( I used to nap almost everyday when i was in college (after morning practice-before night practice) but I don't nap very often any more...it feels soooo good to nap! I hope u feel better tomorrow pretty lady! i'm sending you my feel-good vibes :) it's nooo fun being sick! loveees u!

I would LOVE to be a daily napper! By the time I get off work I'm wide awake and ready for the gym so nap time for me. But I'm sure it would do everyone a world of good. Feel better and come back to us soon!

I am not normally a napper, but sometimes my body just needs it. A quick power nap feels SO GOOD on those days! I was the best napper ever in college, though! ;-)

Oh no I hope you feel better!! Plain oatmeal is the only thing I can ever stomach when I'm sick too. Remember to stay hydrated!

I love naps but I don't often take them because they usually are 2-3 hours long. Too much, right?

Sickness is the best excuse for getting caught up on sleep and snuggling in bed.

Keep sipping on fluids and rest up. You'll be back to your normal feeling self soon enough.

I hate to nap. Generally I lie down with the intention of sleeping for twenty or thirty minutes...and wake up two hours later. So napping really messes up my sleep cycle. Instead if I am really sore and really tired I'll just lay down for about ten or fifteen minutes just to give my body some rest. Eating healthy helps me to get through the day as does doing my best to get a full night of sleep.

I used to take a nap over my lunch break when I lived close enough to drive home every afternoon. SUCH a bad habit. Hitting the gym during lunch makes me feel so much better.
